where is good reliable place to find used ski equipment? looking for mens size 12 ski boots.?
does it matter what brand? are most ski boots universal?
Ski boots are an intensely personal choice. I would never, EVER buy a boot unless I tried them on and determined fit and comfort were to my personal taste.
Price is no guarantee of good fit. I have a very old pair of rear entry boots that were $20 and have no interest in trying new boots. My old Nordicas fit great, hold my heal very firmly in the heel cup, and are quite suitable for my needs.
You can try Craigslist (CL) or ebay, but I'd use CL first, and also try shops with a good selection of used equipment. good luck
